This is because players must make decisions that can affect the outcome of the game. But don’t be fooled, chance still plays a big part. All casino games are designed to provide an advantage to the house, sometimes called “house edge”. Players may have the possibility of a short-term payoff, but the house has a predictable, long-term advantage. So winning is statistically possible, but the odds favour the house.
